Joan Ching serves as St. Charles’ chief nurse executive. She oversees nurse staffing, labor relations, clinical practice and professional development, patient flow, care management, caregiver health, and infection prevention for the health system. Ching earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Seattle Pacific University, her master’s at the University of Washington, and her doctorate of nursing practice at Seattle University. She is a 2013 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellow.
