Description

This group is facilitated by Dr. Wendy Hatcher, Psy.D, a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in pregnancy and postpartum-related issues. Dr. Hatcher will facilitate a dialogue for thriving in motherhood. Topics of discussion will include issues that come up in the fourth trimester (after birth), including relationship changes, self-care, and expectations vs. reality. Important note: this group provides support, but is not therapy or treatment. Community members needing those services should contact St. Charles Bend Outpatient Behavioral Health Intake at 541-706-2768, Bend Behavioral Health at 541-706-7730, Redmond Behavioral Health at 541-516-3890, or Prineville Behavioral Health at 541-516-3890.

Because group sessions do not constitute treatment sessions, participants should not expect confidentiality should they choose to share personal, private or medical information. This meeting is held virtually through a Zoom meeting. Participants should follow Oregon law regarding undisclosed recording of any sessions. Information for logging in will be emailed to participants prior to the event.

Open to all new mothers, regardless of where you receive care.
