About Dixon

Cassandra Dixon is a board-certified physician assistant serving patients in Bend, Oregon. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant degree from Oregon Health & Science University in 2004. Before becoming a PA, she worked as an EMT in Jackson, Wyoming, serving with Teton County EMS from 1999 to 2002 and spending a summer in Grand Teton National Park.

She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in molecular biology from the University of California, San Diego. As an undergraduate, she completed a year-long research project in pediatric oncology, working with Dr. Mitch Dicciani and Dr. Alice Yu on retinoblastoma and neuroblastoma.

In her current role, she works closely with the structural heart team, with clinical interests focused on valve and structural heart disease and aortic care.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and spending time with her family and dog in beautiful Central Oregon.
