Fran was born and raised in Wisconsin. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Colorado Health Science Center. Between her degrees, Fran worked as a commercial raft guide in North Carolina and Utah. During this time, Fran found her admiration for the human body and learned the physical impact that comes with injury or illness. She became passionate about helping others maintain health and heal after injury or illness. Since graduating from PT school in 1998, Fran has worked primarily in the outpatient setting, and was a travel therapist for six years, gaining experience from various backgrounds and settings. Fran’s primary interest is helping individuals improve and manage their overall health and chronic disease through appropriate physical activity.
