Gabe joined the St. Charles Redmond team in 2020 after receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University that same year. He started his career in the Portland Metro Area but moved to Central Oregon for the opportunity to be with St. Charles and practice in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary, team-based environment, treating a wide variety of diagnoses across multiple health care settings.
Gabe treats a variety of impairments in the adult population related to acute and chronic orthopedic injuries and diagnoses as well as those related to neurological conditions and has a specialization in personalized blood flow restriction training. He has been involved in human physiology research since his time as an undergraduate at the University of Oregon and his research at Regis University was published in the Journal of Applied Biomechanics in 2020. Gabe is passionate about the role of rehabilitation and "pre"habilitation throughout the lifespan as well as the life-long pursuit of functional goal setting and providing individualized treatment plans and interventions.
Outside of work, you can find Gabe backpacking, cycling, cooking and always eating. Ask him about his "question of the week" when you see him in clinic!
