Laura received her Master of Occupational Therapy in 2014 from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She has primarily worked with children and their caregivers in a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation setting. She has extensive experience with all ages and diagnoses, but her passion is pediatric feeding therapy, where responsive connection, evidence-based practice and emphasis on patient and caregiver education combine to improve outcomes and quality of life. To help improve outcomes for infants, she has completed her Lactation Educator Certification. She has also studied Neurologically Informed Cognitive Behavior Therapy for anxiety and finds this useful with a wide variety of patients and their caregivers. Additionally, Laura has experience in early intervention, school-based therapy and high-risk infant assessment and treatment.
