Mary received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College, in Upstate New York in 2014. She has practiced as a PT for eight years between Colorado and Oregon, finally landing in Central Oregon. She has worked with the pediatric population for six years, including completion of the OHSU PT Pediatric Residency and LEND Fellowship training programs. More recently, in 2020, Mary joined St. Charles Health System, working in the home health field with adult patients. She has practiced in the OP, pediatric IP and NICU, school, home and community-based settings.
Mary specializes in the evaluation and treatment of neurodevelopmental diagnoses, high risk infant assessment, NICU follow up, and in providing specialized care to individuals with bleeding and clotting disorders. In addition to patient care, she has spent some time teaching, participating in clinical research studies and serving on the Oregon PT Rules Advisory Committee.
Outside of work, Mary spends most of her time outdoors; fishing, biking and gardening with her family, friends and Newfoundland dog.
