Matt is a board-certified Orthopedic Specialist. He completed his BS in exercise and sport science at Oregon State University, then went on to get his doctorate in physical therapy at Eastern Washington University in 2008.
Matt has an extensive background in motor control and stability retraining through Kinetic Control and Functional Movement Systems, manual therapy training through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and the Institute of Physical Art. He has also undergone certification through the Titleist Performance Institute for golf injury management and performance training. Incorporating patient expectations and improving overall patient wellness is a huge emphasis of his sessions.
Outside of the clinic, he and his wife spend their time chasing their two kiddos around the Central Oregon trails. When he's not with them you can usually find him on his mountain bike or looking for his golf ball somewhere in the left rough.
