Shanna is an experienced occupational therapist dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes since 2001. She earned her degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and began her career in California. Over the years, she has worked in various settings, including acute and post-acute care and intensive care burn units. She is currently focused on outpatient rehabilitation.
Specializing in upper extremity neurological rehabilitation, hand therapy, myofascial release, and manual lymph drainage, Shanna brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. She holds multiple certifications, including Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Certified Massage Therapist, and training in IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization). Shanna also utilizes innovative tools such as computer biofeedback systems and dynamic splints for stroke rehabilitation.
With a diverse toolkit at her disposal, Shanna is passionate about helping her patients regain function and return to the activities they love. Originally from Minnesota, she now happily calls Bend, Oregon, home. Outside of work, Shanna enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors of Central Oregon and spending quality time with her husband, son, and friends.
