Jodi Nelson is a women’s health nurse practitioner who joined St. Charles Center for Women’s Health in 2019. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Arizona, and her master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University. Jodi completed her preceptorship in women’s health at St. Charles Center for Women’s Health and is excited to now join the practice. Jodi is passionate about the Central Oregon community and especially enjoys working with and empowering women in the areas of prenatal and postpartum care, sexual health, family planning and contraception. When not working, Jodi and her family love to spend time outside hiking and exploring Central Oregon. She also enjoys baking, running and reading.

A native Oregonian, Jen had always hoped that one of her family’s month-long vacations to Bend would someday result in a permanent stay, and now that dream is a reality. Jen obtained her undergraduate nursing degree from Oregon Health & Science University, and completed her graduate training in midwifery and women’s health at Georgetown University. The thing Jen is most excited about regarding relocating to Bend is being the family member who everyone comes to visit. With nine nieces and nephews, Jen’s family is already planning for the holidays, weekend river floats, snowshoeing, skiing, swimming, golfing and fishing. When she’s not working, you’ll find Jen trying to convince her 150-pound Newfoundland, Tini, that the water is really her friend.
