Darren Binder, an attorney with more than 25 years of experience in health care law, joined St. Charles as senior vice president and chief legal and risk officer in 2019. He oversees the legal, compliance, internal audit, and information security teams and ensures the health system meets the complex and ever-changing regulations governing health care. Binder holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics-economics from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., and a law degree from Boston College Law School. He holds a certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from UCLA.
