About O'Brien

Sarah O’Brien is an Oregon native with deep roots in Central Oregon. She graduated from Redmond High School prior to earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. Discovering a love for keeping people healthy and a passion for prevention led to a ten-year career as a nurse in public health at the Jefferson County Health Department and grew into a desire to provide whole person care to her community. Sarah went on to earn a Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Portland and is thrilled to be returning to Madras to care for the Jefferson County community. 

Outside of work, Sarah spends her time with her family. Embracing adventure both near and far, she finds excitement in travel, and joy in simple activities like baking and gardening with her children.
