About Tekarli

Dr. Mustafa (Taffa) Tekarli is a clinical pharmacist with a heart for rural medicine and small-town communities. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy and completed a two-year pharmacotherapy residency with Idaho State University’s Department of Family Medicine and Pharmacy Practice. His areas of expertise include managing diabetes (both type 1 and type 2), hypertension, and chronic kidney disease.

Outside of work, Dr. Tekarli enjoys spending time with his family and indulging his passion for sports, particularly cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers during football season.
