Objectives
- Define the bone remodeling cycle, and factors affecting the resorption/ osteoformation balance.
- Estimate the fragility fracture risk.
- Identify different interventions to manage osteoporosis.
- Discuss discontinuation and switching anti‐ osteoporotic therapies‐ Combination and sequential therapies to maintain bone density gains.
