Objectives

  1. Review evidence and treatment options for patients with medium vessel occlusions.
  2. Discuss treatment strategies for patients with vessel occlusions and low NIH Stroke Scale scores.
  3. Describe management of patients with large core infarcts.
  4. Explain the evidence and evaluate recommended treatment options for patients with large vessel occlusions due to intracranial stenosis.
