Objectives
- Understand the mechanisms of action behind GLP-1 and GLP1/GIP agonists.
- Assess clinical indications whereby GLP-1 agonist have been shown to confer benefits in clinical trials.
- Appreciate the importance of selecting the proper patient population for consideration of GLP-1 agonist therapy.
- Monitoring the safety and efficacy of GLP-1 therapy.
