Objectives:
- Cite the epidemiology of intimate partner violence
- Identify those populations at risk for intimate partner violence while navigating cultural views and/or barriers
- Recognize the signs and symptoms of intimate partner violence
- Apply the appropriate strategies and interventions in the treatment of intimate partner violence
- Address the patient appropriately when the suspected perpetrator is present
