Objectives
- Describe the evaluation and treatment of women with UTI.
- Identify recurrent UTI and alternative diagnoses such as interstitial cystitis and asymptomatic bacteriuria.
- Explain new theories about the microbiome of the bladder and how it impacts UTI and recurrent UTIs.
- Describe the proper usage of antibiotics in treating patients with these conditions.
