Your first week at St. Charles
Your first week at St. Charles will vary, depending on your role.
The Center is officially part of St. Charles Health System, operating as St. Charles Center for Orthopedics & Neurosurgery. Our teams are currently experiencing extremely high call volumes. If you are trying to reach your provider or care team but have not received a call back, please be patient. We are working hard to return every call.
Your first week at St. Charles will vary, depending on your role.
All new caregivers (we call all employees caregivers) must go through General Orientation. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we now hold this orientation virtually. We will introduce you to other caregivers, you will hear stories about the history of St. Charles over the past 100 years, and learn about our mission, vision and values.
After New Caregiver Orientation, depending on your role, you will embark on a variety of tracks. After General Orientation is completed, Clinical Orientation begins on for all clinical caregivers. This includes all of allied health and nursing (i.e. CNAs, RT, Tech, PT, OT, ST, Imaging, Pharmacy, medical assistants and nursing). Learn more about Clinical Orientation here.
